Introduction

Welcome to the Liverpool in Europe website. To view the details of a match, click on the match title underneath the club badge. You can then navigate through the matches from that point, or click on the home button to return to the first page.

For each match programme, we have included the title, the number of pages (which include both outer covers), the dimensions (to the nearest .5 cm), and any applicable notes.

In recent years, a number of home produced issues are printed for each match Liverpool play in Europe. These issues are never available at the match and are usually only sold on the internet. We do not list these issues on this site. If you are aware of a programme that was available at a match, and is not listed on this site, please email us a scan of the front page with some details about the issue. Also, email us if you see any errors in the details or wrong images being used. Where the digit 2 is displayed beside an image, a second image of the item is available. Slide the pointer over the digit 2 to display the second image.

We are aware that the ticket images on this site may assist in the creation of reproductions of tickets. We are reluctant to put on a water mark. We believe it detracts from the image – for the same reason, we will not use images that already have a watermark. Each ticket on this site can be easily identified; usually by the unique number on its front. If anyone is being offered a ticket that they have reservations about, they should first check it against the image on the site. If it is identical, they should email us; and we will check with the person who supplied the image. We will not make public the names of the suppliers of individual images. Also - it should be noted - that none of the tickets are their original size.

Request for Scans

The plan is to provide a scan of the cover of every programme that was available at each match; and a scan of the ticket. We are getting close to reaching this target, but we still need your assistance.

We require a scan of the ticket from the following HOME match :-

1982/83 Helsinki JK

We understand this ticket does not have any match details on it.

We require a scan of the ticket from the following AWAY matches :-

1967/68 Malmo

1969/70 Dundalk

We are always interested in scans of the cover of any newspapers or magazines that we haven't already listed. We are also interested in scans of team sheets, posters, travel arrangements, official itineraries, menus, or any other items relating to Liverpool FC in Europe.

View from the Terrace

We are inviting supporters to share their memories of European matches with us. You may have been present at one of the big European nights at Anfield, or you may have experience of following Liverpool around Europe. Alternatively, you may have memories of watching a match on television, or listening to the commentary on radio. If you do want to share these memories with fellow supporters, send us an email with the details; and we will include them under the appropriate match in a section called View from the Terrace.
