1) This programme is printed on newsprint style paper - which has discoloured over the years. The top of the pages have not been cut; the programme folds out into one large sheet. Programmes were also printed on white paper with poorer quality print.

2) Programme signed at Bucharest airport by the starting 11 players plus substitute Steve Nicol.

3) Official programme reprint. 8 pages. The programme was reprinted after the match. Instead of folding out into one large sheet, like the original, the pages are stapled.

(Feb 27, 2015) Mark Birtles said:

There was 300 of us. I tried to get a YNWA going but it was a waste of time because of the jeering and whistling from 60000 of their lot. Plus it rained the whole time and no roof. I was in the back row of our 'section' and when Rushie got the first goal you can see me jumping up in my blue cagoul for half a second. There was some 'banter' with the locals as a result of us shouting bastard at their players when they kicked one of our players. A phrase I still use today was 'him not bastard - you bastard'. But scoring after 12 mins took the edge off it.
