The Belgian newspaper Het Volk produced a large sized 4 page special edition dated the day of the match. Included are preview articles, team line-ups, pen pictures of all the Liverpool and Brugge players, history of European Cup Finals with results from all the previous Final matches 1956-1977 plus results and team line-ups of all Brugge previous matches in Europe 1967-1978.	Sixty four page Belgian magazine Sport 70 reviews the matches Club Brugge played in qualifying for the final. This magazine is possibly an official club issue.
