Tickets were issued for the seating areas only. The tickets for the first three European home matches were printed on light card; the retained portion measuring 7.5 x 7.5 cm. This was the design used by the club for all of their home match tickets. For this match, the ticket was printed on very light flimsy paper, the retained portion measuring 10 x 11 cm approx. Liverpool used this style of ticket for home European matches until 1976, while still using the light card for domestic matches.

Very interesting. This game was just before I started to watch matches at Anfield, unfortunately. What a contrast between the quality of players they had then and the ones they have now!
