The following Sunday Liverpool lost 3:1 to Arsenal at Highbury. The match had a 4:05 PM kick off time. Goals from Robert Pires and Jose Antonio Reyes gave Arsenal the advantage at half time. Steven Gerrard pulled one back in the second half. Cesc Fabregas wrapped up the points in the last minute.
